This project has a dimension of intercultural dialogue on two distinct levels. On the local level, minority theaters are centers for intercultural dialogue between the majority and minority cultures. On the other hand, cooperation and exchange between the theaters involved through the prism of the SYNERGY festival contributes to intercultural dialogue at the European level.
By promoting and empowering minority cultures and intercultural dialogue, the SYNERGY festival promotes mutual understanding, tolerance and democracy. An important festival’s goal is to contribute to the fight against nationalism, discrimination and cultural hegemony.
